NewsPR publishes press releases supplied by identified organisations. We are a distribution channel, not so much a newsroom: the issuing organisation is the author of its own release and is responsible for the accuracy of its claims. Publication on this site does not constitute endorsement, verification of factual claims, or any opinion of NEWS PR on the subject matter. While we perform editorial review for clarity, formatting, and basic suitability, we do not independently verify the factual accuracy of statements in submitted releases. Readers should contact issuers directly for verification.
What we check
- That the filing organisation is real, reachable and named.
- That the release carries a working media contact.
- That the text is a news announcement rather than an advertisement, a link placement, or search-engine filler.
- That claims about third parties are attributed.
What we refuse
Releases whose purpose is to place links; content that is defamatory, misleading, or in breach of an embargo held by another party; unlabelled paid promotion; and anything a reasonable editor would not put a masthead over.
Corrections
Published releases are not silently rewritten. A material change is published as a correction, dated and noted on the release itself, and the original wording is described. Requests go to the editorial desk.
If you believe a release on this site is defamatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful, contact us via the contact form. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time.
Links
Outbound links inside release bodies carry rel="nofollow sponsored". This is deliberate; it complies with search engine guidance for syndicated promotional content, and it is not negotiable at any price tier.
