Everything here is public and needs no key. If you run a newsroom system or an aggregator and want a format that is not listed, write to the desk and ask.

Feeds

  1. /feed.xml — every release, RSS 2.0, with the hero image as Media RSS.
  2. /feed.json — the same as JSON Feed 1.1.
  3. /topic/{sector}/feed.xml — one sector.
  4. /newsroom/{name}/feed.xml — one organisation.

Structured formats

  1. /news/{slug}.ninjs — the release as IPTC ninjs: headline, body, dateline, subjects, images, embargo and any correction, as structured data rather than a link in a feed.
  2. /sitemap.xml and /news-sitemap.xml — the archive and the last 48 hours.

Real-time

The RSS feed advertises a WebSub hub. Subscribe to it and each release is pushed to you the moment it is published, rather than waiting for your next poll.

Terms

Releases may be reproduced in whole or in part for editorial purposes with attribution to the issuing organisation. Images are supplied by the issuer for use with the release they accompany; the licence terms are declared on each one.
